Discover the Wonders of the Mediterranean with MSC's Euribia Cruise
MSC Euribia, the second ship in the MSC fleet to be powered by liquid natural gas (LNG), is set to launch in 2023. The 6,334-passenger vessel is the line's third Meraviglia-Plus class ship, following MSC Grandiosa and MSC Virtuosa. MSC Euribia will have an instantly recognizable design, featuring a 305-feet LED screen running along the ceiling of the central indoor promenade. Plus, it will be the first in the 22-strong fleet to boast colourful artwork across its hull and have an exclusive ship-within-a-ship Yacht Club with its own staterooms, pool deck, and dining room. The advanced eco-friendly ship will be equipped with LNG technology to reduce greenhouse emissions and have an advanced wastewater treatment system and an underwater radiated noise management system to minimize the effect of vibrations on marine life. MSC has launched a global competition for artists to design an artwork for the hull, with a 15,500 euro prize and free cruise for the winner and 1,500 euro for five finalists. The maiden voyage of MSC Euribia is tentatively set for June 2023, although no details on the ship's itineraries have been released yet. The vessel will be 181,541 gross tons and accommodate 6,334 passengers with 1,704 crew.
