AmaWaterways Magdalena Cruise - Explore the Enchanting Magdalena River!
AmaWaterways is set to become the first mainstream river cruise line to offer sailings on Colombia's Magdalena River when its all-suite ship AmaMagdalena launches in 2024. This eco-friendly river vessel was announced in 2021 and will accommodate up to 80 passengers. AmaMagdalena will feature modern comforts, luxurious touches and provide “unparalleled service” while exploring the 950 mile long river known for its biodiversity. Activities will include kayaking, hiking and birdwatching, and it will have an onboard wellness host. Two 7-night itineraries will be available with optional pre- and post-cruise land programs to explore Colombia's culture and nature. Exact launch date has yet to be announced.
